Environmentalism and the Immoral Low Ground

Over the past few decades, this coalition has taken up a campaign aimed mainly at young people to terrify the population into handing over nearly total control of the economy to fend off an ecoapocalypse caused by climate change. The argument for this is branded as one straightforward point of settled science, but it rests on nine unique premises:

The climate is not static, it is changing.

The climate is currently warming.

This warming will have terrible consequences.

These terrible consequences cannot be overcome.

Humans are responsible for the warming.

Humans can slow or reverse the warming.

Nearly all humans are incapable of making the choices necessary to slow or reverse the warming.

A subset of humans is smart enough to understand the choices necessary to slow or reverse the warming.

This subset of humans can and should use the force of government to compel the rest of the humans to make any and all changes to their lifestyle that are necessary to slow or reverse the warming.

Does Con, Inc., Have An End-Game?

What if the Dems succeed in killing Donald Trump?  Will the MAGA masses then goose-step behind Joe Biden? Will they bow down to Kamala Harris? Will they drink the Kool-Aid if  Emperor Buttgeig orders it? The Dems think so.

The Never-Trumpers are as delusional as the Sanders devotees. Can they swap out a Donald for a Ben Shapiro and celebrate the rallies that draw thousands of people from hundreds of miles? Trump? Shapiro? What’s the diff?

If a series of pinpoint lightning strikes land Ron DeSantis in the White House, will the deep state respect him or his office? Will the news media bend over backward to be fair and accurate in reporting on the DeSantis Administration? How many Pulitzers will be awarded to the hard-hitting journalists who reveal Putin’s role in the Desantis victory? Will the deep state wait for him to leave office before fabricating indictments?

Some pundits believe Con, Inc., is entirely dedicated to revenue and the lesser villain role hits the monetary sweet spot. Asserting their professed principles would derail the gravy train. Think John McCain and Obamacare. Do the RINO politicians think they can keep their plates in the air forever?

Do the RINO talking heads believe that they are  immune to  market forces? Mr. Vax Sean Hannity used to suck up to the FBI and CIA in a manner that was not just stupid, it was  embarrassing. His audience is dwindling, if not dwindled.  When was the last time you saw a Hannity vid embedded in another news site? If Hannity retired, would anyone notice?

Ah, to be the next Ryan or Graham or Goldberg or Brooks! Such intoxicating fantasies used to fill the heads of many an ambitious lass. But Con, Inc., ain’t what she used to be. She didn’t just smooch with the devil and the whole town knows it.

What now for Con, Inc? What’s a girl to do?  Does Con, Inc., have an exit strategy? Does Con Inc., have an end-game?

EDITOR’S NOTES

1. We do not link To Fox News or Fox Business News.

2. We sometimes link to Fox affiliates.

3. We sometimes link to sites that contain a video that might have a snippet from Fox News (usually Tucker Carlson).

4. We try to avoid second hand news stories that are sourced from Fox News or Fox Business News.

5. We try to not link to sites with pay walls. This eliminates NYT and WaPo (who cares?) but also eliminates WSJ and Epoch Times. We hope that Epoch Times changes their business model because they are one of the best news outlets in the English language.

6. We believe it is more important than ever for Americans to monitor world affairs. The most influential man in America is probably George Soros and he is not in America–nor is he an American. Other understated influences on America include World Economic Forum, BBC, and CBC, to name but a few.

7. Most English language newspapers in non-English speaking countries are paid subscription sites. This presents an ongoing challenge to report on world affairs.

8. We try to avoid linking to mainstream media when possible We are not hesitant to link to mainstream sources if the news story involves raw data, such as the daily stock market or weather statistics or sports scores. Even then, we usually provide a “Mainstream” disclaimer.
