Defining Dictator Down Won’t Make Us Free
It is true that Biden dictated that 84 million Americans working for large companies must get injected with the Covid vaccine. But that wasn’t dictatorial because, as Biden explained, vaccine skeptics were murderers who only wanted “the freedom to kill you” with Covid. (The Supreme Court nullified that dictate early last year.)
It is true that the Biden White House dictated that social media companies suppress billions of posts, including true information from critics of the administration’s Covid policies. But that didn’t count because, as top Biden advisor Andrew Slavitt declared, “People with murderously selfish ideas— driven by an unwillingness to sacrifice & wrapped in phony intellectualism— entered” the debate over Covid policies. (A federal appeals court is exposing the vast sweep of Biden’s Covid censorship.)
It is true that Biden issued a dictate extending the national moratorium on evictions of deadbeat renters. The Supreme Court torpedoed Biden’s policy. But he was blameless because the Court decision relied on an archaic standard: “Our system does not permit agencies to act unlawfully even in pursuit of desirable ends.”
It is true that Biden appointees dictated that two-year-old children in Head Start must wear masks all day. But that wasn’t dictatorial because children were permitted to briefly remove the masks when they ate meals. (A federal judge torpedoed that mandate in late 2022.)

The Democrats’ Tribal Morality
What is good for the Democrat Party is moral.
What is bad for the Democrat Party is immoral.
Tribal morality.
Groupthink. No think.
This brand of fundamentalism permeates the soul of every Democrat.
There is no sense of common good.
There is no sense of shared interest.
The Party and only The Party is significant. Other is evil.
We saw this ethos on full display during the recent Durham hearings. Thumbnail: Durham reported serious crimes committed by high-ranking Democrats and their henchmen. Congressional Democrats attacked and vilified Durham and impugned his testimony and his reputation.
If you just returned from a long cruise you might say something like “The republic cannot withstand unconditional partisanship! Western Civilization cannot endure this toxic fundamentalism! Our nation cannot survive an entrenched political party that is unconcerned with the welfare of our beloved country.”
To which we might reply, “That was one long ass cruise, buddy.”
You would have witnessed something similar when card-carrying liberals, Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger, were ridiculed and insulted by Democrat Representatives after exposing “Twitter File” censorship. Every Dem Congressman was uncivil to the witnesses. Zero exceptions.
This has been the state of affairs for a long time. January 6 insurrection hoax. Widespread election fraud. BLM riots. Hillary’s espionage and brazen destruction of subpoenaed data…we could go back to the Lois Lerner coverup. Crime. Scandal. Lawfare. Homicide. “What” never matters to the Democrats. They are only concerned with “who and whom”.
Tribal morality trickles down to the rank and file. What you might see as abnegation, they see as loyalty to Team Blue. If the minions do not possess the expertise to slay a enemy, they can certainly be counted on to rig a judicial proceeding in favor of the Dems. Their capacity for destruction is only limited by their skill set.
There is no middle ground with fanaticism. We can hope for some sort of mass deprogramming. We can hope for a resurgence of the Walk Away movement. We can hope that millions of cultists reclaim their individuality. We can hope but it won’t happen.
What is good for the Democrat Party is moral.
What is bad for the Democrat Party is immoral.
Tribal morality.
EDITOR’S NOTES
1. We do not link To Fox News or Fox Business News.
2. We sometimes link to Fox affiliates.
3. We sometimes link to sites that contain a video that might have a snippet from Fox News (usually Tucker Carlson).
4. We try to avoid second hand news stories that are sourced from Fox News or Fox Business News.
5. We try to not link to sites with pay walls. This eliminates NYT and WaPo (who cares?) but also eliminates WSJ and Epoch Times. We hope that Epoch Times changes their business model because they are one of the best news outlets in the English language.
6. We believe it is more important than ever for Americans to monitor world affairs. The most influential man in America is probably George Soros and he is not in America–nor is he an American. Other understated influences on America include World Economic Forum, BBC, and CBC, to name but a few.
7. Most English language newspapers in non-English speaking countries are paid subscription sites. This presents an ongoing challenge to report on world affairs.
8. We try to avoid linking to mainstream media when possible We are not hesitant to link to mainstream sources if the news story involves raw data, such as the daily stock market or weather statistics or sports scores. Even then, we usually provide a “Mainstream” disclaimer.
