Give It A Rest, Conservative Inc.

While the Steve Deace’s, Clay Travis’, Dana Loesch’s, and Ben Shapiro’s stayed perfectly safe and uncensored because they immediately rushed to adopt the UniParty/GOP establishment tune from the very beginning, and stuck with it:

Trump LOST. Get OVER it. Move ON.

So every time one of these Con Inc. people start saying stuff like “Well Trump ran a losing campaign back in 2020 and he lost fair and square to Biden so according to this 2020 election data right here, what he needs to now is…” to ‘explain’ to us what he needs to do to win in 2024? Or to pontificate to us about how he’ll lose this upcoming election?

Right there is where they lose us. Because they can’t admit the obvious. And if they can’t admit the obvious, are they really a good source for news analysis? I would say no.

Why should anybody keep listening to the analysis of people who either can’t accurately see the last presidential election, or even worse, they see it but they refuse to acknowledge it, as they babble their cool hot take ‘prescriptions’ for what Trump needs to do to win this next one?

They have no credibility. If the most obvious fact about the 2020 election escaped you, or you are still refusing to talk about it at this late date?

Your analysis is freaking worthless.

You Can’t Defend ‘Democracy’ And The Administrative State

Moreover, the notion that government regulators are the best and brightest and attain their position through merit is complete bunkum, as anyone who’s paid more than five minutes of attention to the government already knows. This is especially true of political appointees, whose most valued skills are navigating bureaucracies and risk aversion.

Indeed, bureaucrats do not function under a notion of “accountability” that most normal people would recognize. When was the last time an agency cleaned house because its policies had failed? When was the time the administrative state was reined back in any genuine way? How many regulators or appointees are ever fired? If you were as bad at your job as Alejandro Mayorkas, you’d be out of work forever.

The New Deal’s Dark Underbelly

Roosevelt was not a passive and reactive participant in these events and his racist views of Japanese people influenced his later policies. In 1925, FDR wrote that “anyone who has travelled in the Far East knows that the mingling of Asiatic blood with European or American blood produces, in nine cases out of ten, the most unfortunate results.” In 1935, he insisted to a delegation that aggression “was in the blood” of Japan’s leaders. In 1936, when visiting Hawaii and thinking about the interactions between Japanese sailors and Japanese Americans on the islands, the president insisted that “every Japanese citizen or non-citizen on the Island of Oahu who meets these Japanese ships or has any connection with their officers or men should be secretly but definitely identified and his or her name placed on a special list of those who would be the first to be placed in a concentration camp.”

Is DEI Collapsing?

After a few years, I didn’t even bother to apply for most of the choicest scholarship opportunities, since they overtly proclaimed that “preference will be given to historically disadvantaged students.” I didn’t presume that “historically disadvantaged” meant someone like me — rural, mid-life, veteran, and leftist-nonconforming…

Not that it is any kind of revelation, but the growing chorus of concern over out-of-control Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) thought-control is well earned. In none of my classes could students or faculty engage in anything like open inquiry about race or gender. A discussion about the history of enslaved Europeans alongside the history of enslaved Africans? Crickets. A contextualization of gender roles that defied the standard “oppression” narrative? No.

After years of reading my work with nothing but praise, my advisor suddenly required me at the eleventh hour to replace the word “Indian” with something more palatable (ludicrously, the Spanish “Indio” would suffice). Another member of my committee offered to take umbrage at my comparisons of documented ethnohistoric rituals on Native Americans’ behalf, a patently paternalistic and insensible thing to do.

BORDER CRISIS: DOGS ABANDONED BY MIGRANTS

Ruling Class Disturbance

The elites agreed on the preeminent value of technology, cosmopolitanism, consumerism, preventing global warming, and globalism. Economic inequality was largely an afterthought, replaced by a consensus concern that the elites do more to bring promising minorities into the elite.

By contrast, religion, family life, traditions, ethnic purity, cultural continuity, stability, and the preservation of middle-class wealth and employment were completely anathema. These concerns of the tradition-oriented middle and working classes have been either ignored altogether or the object of hostility and ridicule.

For the same reasons, when Trump came along, he was also an object of hostility and ridicule. While Trump hailed from the ranks of the elite, his style was middle-class, as were his loyalties. His enemies saw him as a traitor to his class, and his supporters saw him as a champion of the voiceless.

For the elite, Obama was the archetype: cosmopolitan, minority, educated, and articulate. He was a progressive global citizen, but he was also willing to keep his hands off free trade, Wall Street, open borders, and an interventionist American foreign policy. His expansion of American intrigue overseas and the slow recovery from the 2008 Great Recession hardly dented his approval. Elites did well as the stock market soared, and Obama’s mouthing of the right words on social issues placated his ordinary supporters, even when other aspects of his presidency deviated from leftist orthodoxy.

When ‘Psychopathic’ is No Exaggeration

What would you make of someone who cheerfully – well, that is just a figure of speech; I don’t know if this individual is capable of being cheerful – sponsors the development of ‘vaccines’ that turn out to be no real vaccines, and when ‘insufficient’ numbers of people take up the call to be ‘vaccinated,’ find other means of getting their destructive payload into people? Such as arranging for these drugs to be inserted into food, for instance?

Or, who declares that those people who would dare resist the flood of mRNA jabs that are coming would be ‘excluded from society?’ (A lot is riding on the meaning of ‘exclusion,’ here, of course; he probably means, overtly at least, that they would be excluded ‘temporarily,’ and not as ‘permanently’ as those who accept the jabs.) This same individual apparently also believes that ‘billions will die’ in the next ‘pandemic’ (of the so-called Disease X), reportedly planned for 2024.

National Populism and the Rise of Donald Trump

Deplorables are awakening to their vast, unharnessed power. Rising opposition from working people is turning the tables and leading to increased boycotts and open protests over the wokery of the Left. With the rise of the internet, the government is losing the façade of being kept honest by an independent press corps. Grassroots patriots are finding new ways to communicate ideas they have never expressed publicly. People are flocking to citizen journalists who allow them to decide for themselves what is essential. Videos, blogs, social media, Substack articles, and private web pages now empower everyday people. This free-speech insurgence is ending the censorship of what the government deems newsworthy.

The only question is when and how the forces of national populism will end the rule of the Ivy League globalists who have done so much to ruin the nation. Fortunately, a pivotal individual has arisen to champion the forgotten people and become our leader in this critical and historic time. That man is Donald Trump.

PROF JENKINS: The collapse of credentialism

Anyone who was paying attention could see, as early as April 2020, that much of what the “experts” were telling us—about masks, “social distancing,” school closures—had no basis in science. Anonymous social media accounts routinely exposed the technocrats’ contradictions, statistical errors, and bold-faced lies.

That trend continued into 2021, when the much-ballyhooed “vaccines” failed to prevent people from contracting or transmitting the virus—just as the “conspiracy theorists” had predicted. Attempts to suppress this information were to some extent stymied by lawsuits, FOIA requests, an aggressive alternative media (including Campus Reform), and Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter/X.

The truth, bit by bit, came out. The “experts” were discredited. And credentialism began to implode as people realized that merely having a degree or title is no guarantee of anything.

The Left and Tribalism

The leftist Democrat leaders of today only care about getting and keeping power. They don’t care about Blacks or gays or trans or environmentalists. These groups are just weapons of convenience with which to pound the American public into permanent submission. Stoking preexisting tensions in our society, or creating tensions where none exist has been an effective tactic. The Democrats are trying to tribalize America by destroying our current broad-based American culture and replacing it with a tribal culture. In their new tribalism we would get our identity from our differences, slicing and dicing our culture along racial, gender, and environmentalist lines. In primitive cultures someone trying to do this would probably be cast out or punished by the tribe or its leaders for threatening the established order that helps it survive. There will always be radicals and bigots in our society hovering around the fringe, waiting for the chance spread their poison of division and hatred. As a nation we have welcomed them back when we see genuine repentance and strived to keep them marginalized when their hatred persists. But now they have taken over the Democrat Party, our government and large swaths of our culture.

Tribalism’s power is that it creates division. Division can be very helpful when trying to conquer a nation. In today’s world there seem to be few nations governed as a group of tribes that are stable and secure. They might be able to survive perpetual internal conflict, but they cannot survive in a world of external intrigue and national threats if they cannot make decisions and act with dispatch as a unified people. The American Founders understood this. American society has had tribal issues too. Early on the colonies and later the states were our tribes. But the thing that made our society better than other tribal societies was that we shared a common identity and ideal that were more important to us than arbitrary external differences. In the Left’s tribal America every tribe has to tiptoe through the minefield of every other tribe’s delicate sensibilities, while living in fear of having your reputation, your livelihood or your life destroyed.

We learn, allegedly, that 1) Willis hired her stealth boyfriend Nathan Wade as a special counsel, the day before he filed for divorce (whose records were then mysteriously sealed by the court); 2) that Wade so far has received over $650,000 as special counsel, reportedly including a miraculous ability to charge for 24 hours of continuous legal service in a single day; 3) that Willis and Wade allegedly have used her greenlighted windfall to him to go on a number of pricey junkets and cruises; 4) that to try an ex-president and the leading candidate in the 2024 presidential election, Willis picked Wade who had never tried a single felony case and was previously a “personal injury/accident” lawyer; 5) that the supposedly apolitical Willis had consulted with the January 6 partisan congressional special committee, while Wade had met for marathon meetings with the Biden White House legal counsel (and apparently billed Georgia taxpayers for receiving such federal tutorials).

The legal community’s initial dismissal of this sordid prosecutor’s office is reminiscent of the immediate efforts to downplay Claudine Gay’s plagiarism. But the charade will eventually end the same way, in this case with the resignation and likely indictment of the prosecutor, along with her boyfriend, who concocted quite a scheme at the expense of the taxpayers. Both have made a mockery of their indictment of an ex-president and, if the allegations are true, will be disbarred and prosecuted.

EDITOR’S NOTES

1. We do not link To Fox News or Fox Business News.

2. We sometimes link to Fox affiliates.

3. We sometimes link to sites that contain a video that might have a snippet from Fox News.

4. We try to avoid second hand news stories that are sourced from Fox News or Fox Business News.

5. We try to not link to sites with pay walls. This eliminates NYT and WaPo (who cares?) but also eliminates WSJ and Epoch Times. We hope that Epoch Times changes their business model because they are one of the best news outlets in the English language.

6. We believe it is more important than ever for Americans to monitor world affairs. The most influential man in America is probably George Soros and he is not in America–nor is he an American. Other understated influences on America include World Economic Forum, BBC, and CBC, to name but a few.

7. Most English language newspapers in non-English speaking countries are paid subscription sites. This presents an ongoing challenge to report on world affairs.

8. We try to avoid linking to mainstream media when possible We are not hesitant to link to mainstream sources if the news story involves raw data, such as the daily stock market or weather statistics or sports scores. Even then, we usually provide a “Mainstream” disclaimer.
