The Left and Tribalism

The leftist Democrat leaders of today only care about getting and keeping power. They don’t care about Blacks or gays or trans or environmentalists. These groups are just weapons of convenience with which to pound the American public into permanent submission. Stoking preexisting tensions in our society, or creating tensions where none exist has been an effective tactic. The Democrats are trying to tribalize America by destroying our current broad-based American culture and replacing it with a tribal culture. In their new tribalism we would get our identity from our differences, slicing and dicing our culture along racial, gender, and environmentalist lines. In primitive cultures someone trying to do this would probably be cast out or punished by the tribe or its leaders for threatening the established order that helps it survive. There will always be radicals and bigots in our society hovering around the fringe, waiting for the chance spread their poison of division and hatred. As a nation we have welcomed them back when we see genuine repentance and strived to keep them marginalized when their hatred persists. But now they have taken over the Democrat Party, our government and large swaths of our culture.

Tribalism’s power is that it creates division. Division can be very helpful when trying to conquer a nation. In today’s world there seem to be few nations governed as a group of tribes that are stable and secure. They might be able to survive perpetual internal conflict, but they cannot survive in a world of external intrigue and national threats if they cannot make decisions and act with dispatch as a unified people. The American Founders understood this. American society has had tribal issues too. Early on the colonies and later the states were our tribes. But the thing that made our society better than other tribal societies was that we shared a common identity and ideal that were more important to us than arbitrary external differences. In the Left’s tribal America every tribe has to tiptoe through the minefield of every other tribe’s delicate sensibilities, while living in fear of having your reputation, your livelihood or your life destroyed.

Jon Corzine Gets $5 Million Fine and Lifetime Ban for Tanking MF Global

Editor’s Note: The multi-tiered justice system is nothing new. The headline is wrong. Corzine did not pay a fine for tanking MF Global. Rather, he “borrowed” $7oo,000,000 from his customers’ accounts, making this one of the biggest financial crimes in US history. Given the large sums and the blatant theft, Corzine can thank his friends in high places that he was not given the Madoff treatment. Being a Democrat means never having to say you are sorry.

Lawfare Against Trump Is Running Out of Gas

We learn, allegedly, that 1) Willis hired her stealth boyfriend Nathan Wade as a special counsel, the day before he filed for divorce (whose records were then mysteriously sealed by the court); 2) that Wade so far has received over $650,000 as special counsel, reportedly including a miraculous ability to charge for 24 hours of continuous legal service in a single day; 3) that Willis and Wade allegedly have used her greenlighted windfall to him to go on a number of pricey junkets and cruises; 4) that to try an ex-president and the leading candidate in the 2024 presidential election, Willis picked Wade who had never tried a single felony case and was previously a “personal injury/accident” lawyer; 5) that the supposedly apolitical Willis had consulted with the January 6 partisan congressional special committee, while Wade had met for marathon meetings with the Biden White House legal counsel (and apparently billed Georgia taxpayers for receiving such federal tutorials).

The legal community’s initial dismissal of this sordid prosecutor’s office is reminiscent of the immediate efforts to downplay Claudine Gay’s plagiarism. But the charade will eventually end the same way, in this case with the resignation and likely indictment of the prosecutor, along with her boyfriend, who concocted quite a scheme at the expense of the taxpayers. Both have made a mockery of their indictment of an ex-president and, if the allegations are true, will be disbarred and prosecuted.

Just How Alienated Are Our Masters and Commanders?

We look for writers in the corporate press who seem to understand why. They’re hard to find. Most writings on this topic attribute it all to a wave of cult behavior, the rise of theocratic Christian nationalism, xenophobia, or just ignorance. Sure, there might be signs of this or that, but come on! At some point, one might suppose these people would consider the possibility that normal people are not keen to be forever ruled by a rarified elite that represents the powerful and rich and has no regard for the life aspirations of the regular person.

After the 2016 election, the New York Times sent out an apology of sorts about how they could have been so incredibly wrong. There was some effort to reform under the idea that it is supposed to be the nation’s newspaper of record and hence a downside to completely misunderstanding something so fundamental. But the mea culpa didn’t last. A new op-ed editor was hired and then quickly fired as woke reporters and management dug in with their desire to represent only one point of view.

This has created a wild and pathological paranoia on the part of the 1 percent of masters and commanders of our domain. They are forever looking for signs of the enemy, and ready to believe these signs even if they make no sense. Drive an electric car? Good. Is it a Tesla? Possibly bad. Get vaccinated for Covid and wear a mask at the slightest rumor of a respiratory pathogen floating around? Good. Have kids? Bad. Live in Florida? Bad. Live in California? Good.

The disposition of Ray Epps’s case also means there will be no further official inquiries into his behavior that fateful day 1/6/21. The principle of double jeopardy means he can’t be tried for the same thing twice. There will be no further inquiries into what he did that day and on J-6 itself when he appeared at the barricades on the Capitol grounds, apparently goading protesters to bust through them. It’s a dead letter. Chalk up a “W” for the blob.

But now, chalk up an “L” for the blob: Fani Willis., the Fulton County (GA) District Attorney, has been caught funneling more than half a million dollars to her love bunny, attorney Nathan Wade, after appointing him “special counsel” in the gigantic RICO case against Donald Trump and eighteen other defendants. Poor optics, as they say, and maybe a good deal more than that — such as prosecutorial misconduct. The fact that the lovestruck pair took Caribbean cruises together with that money may only be a minor part of the story. More will come out when Fani Willis answers the summons she has been served to give a deposition at the request of Joycelyn Wade’s lawyers in the Wades’ ongoing divorce proceeding.

The FBI — the Dog That Turned on Its Master

Years later, Deputy Director Andrew McCabe worked with his boss, James Comey, to set a perjury trap for Trump’s National Security Advisor, General Michael Flynn. It was part of the bureau’s “insurance policy” to undermine the Trump presidency. The prosecution of Flynn ruined him financially.

An Inspector General investigation found that McCabe had leaked information to the press (against bureau policy) and lied to federal investigators (a felony). The IG recommended criminal prosecution. Then Attorney General Jeff Sessions opted to merely terminate McCabe’s employment. However, when Merrick Garland became the attorney general, he cleared McCabe’s record, reinstated his pension, and awarded him half a million bucks for his trouble. The dog broke FBI policies, undermined an election, violated a patriot’s rights, and received a “good dog” from the AG. It was another learning moment for the pack — to the public’s detriment.

Joe Biden’s Scary Speech on Jan. 6

The Fabricated Memory of January 6th

We know the then-House Speaker invited her niece (a professional photographer) to come down to the Capitol and photograph the historic event. We also know that ABC producers were employed to produce the televised hearings of the January 6 Commission for several weeks, and had a hand in editing actual J6 footage. This was designed to create an altered, fabricated memory of what happened the day thousands of people came to Washington because they were concerned the election of 2020 had unanswered questions. Not necessarily unanswered by a non-asking media, but unanswered, nevertheless.

The people felt there were shenanigans in the 2020 elections, such as late-night voter drops caught on film, mail-in ballots counted at the last minute that all seemed to go for Biden, even from districts that previously had voted overwhelmingly for Trump in 2016. And what about the supposed water pipe explosion in Atlanta that forced the evacuation of a tallying center — and then it turned out there was no pipe burst or flooding after all — it was just a false alarm.

We now know, according to FBI Director Christopher Wray, they had dozens — if not hundreds — of embedded FBI agents in the crowd. It was like a Cecil B. DeMille movie production, and it was done for the specific purpose of being able to create and fabricate a memory of an insurrection that never occurred.

Yet, half the people in this country honestly believe we had a real insurrection because they have been given a memory. Even Joe Biden admitted last week we saw the tapes “played over and over, repeatedly.” Joe says we “saw it with our own eyes,” just like the Democrats wanted us to see it, like an Irwin Allen disaster movie from the 1970s.

The FBI-Tainted Whitmer ‘Kidnap Plot’ You’ve Heard Next to Nothing About

From appearances, a demonstration at the Michigan state Capitol in Lansing on April 30, 2020 might well have been a law enforcement dress rehearsal for Jan. 6. Chappel traveled to the event with three members of the Watchmen later held on state charges. Some protesters were clad in military gear and carried firearms but could not enter the building. When Chappel told his FBI handler what was happening, the FBI ordered the Michigan State Police to stand down and allow protesters inside. News photographers captured the moment when protesters “stormed” the Michigan Capitol and called out for Whitmer, resulting in the same sort of optics produced on Jan. 6.

The incident took on greater significance when it was revealed that Steven D’Antuono, head of the Detroit FBI field office during the Whitmer caper, was promoted to head up the Washington, D.C., FBI field office three months before the events of Jan. 6.

In exchange for his work, the FBI paid Chappel at least $54,000 in cash. Part of that haul included an envelope, handed over by his primary FBI handler in December 2020, filled with $23,000 in cash as payment for a mission accomplished. (Department of Justice policy requires informants to be paid in cash.). The bureau also supplied Chappel with other personal items, such as a laptop computer and tires for his car.  Chappel also used a rented SUV, again funded by the FBI, to drive his targets to various locations as part of the trap.

The Heritage Foundation was founded in 1973 to advance anti-communism doctrine. The Foundation dictated Reagan policy during his presidency including neoconservative hawkish advances. Having decried Trump ‘a clown’ before his election victory in 2016, the moment he became president The Heritage Foundation shifted gears into control mode and was responsible for selecting the majority of Trump’s cabinet, including 66 Heritage employees. All of whom proved to be neoconservative traitors.

Koch Brothers were also instrumental in the founding of the CATO Institute in 1977. Labeled a libertarian organization, the CATO Institute self describes as supporting a Liberal Democracy or classical liberalism. Cato’s vice president for research Brink Lindsey agreed that libertarians and liberals should view each other as natural ideological allies. While supporting a smaller government, CATO advocates for privatization of government agencies – as opposed to elimination. They support ‘open borders’ and are funded by Google, Facebook, Walton Foundation, and the Gilder Foundation which also supports Human Rights Watch, aka Soros.

The Koch Brothers claim to be conservative Libertarians yet they supported Obama and founded Americans For Prosperity – which funds anyone who is opposed to Trump.

No Border – Say Goodbye to America

U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson visited the U.S.-Mexican border with a gaggle of Republicans, huffing and puffing about what a “catastrophe” exists at the border. So what? Lots of talk but no action.

Going back to his predecessor Paul Ryan, Republicans have fought Trump on building a border wall and applied no pressure on Biden to secure the border. They could defund any responsible agencies including Homeland Security and Customs and Border Enforcement until the border was secure,

They will probably vote to reward DHS with a new building, rather than holding them accountable, as they did with the weaponized and corrupt FBI. The DHS secretary, rather than securing the homeland per his job description, blames climate change rather than his inaction and incompetence.

4. We try to avoid second hand news stories that are sourced from Fox News or Fox Business News.

5. We try to not link to sites with pay walls. This eliminates NYT and WaPo (who cares?) but also eliminates WSJ and Epoch Times. We hope that Epoch Times changes their business model because they are one of the best news outlets in the English language.

6. We believe it is more important than ever for Americans to monitor world affairs. The most influential man in America is probably George Soros and he is not in America–nor is he an American. Other understated influences on America include World Economic Forum, BBC, and CBC, to name but a few.

7. Most English language newspapers in non-English speaking countries are paid subscription sites. This presents an ongoing challenge to report on world affairs.

8. We try to avoid linking to mainstream media when possible We are not hesitant to link to mainstream sources if the news story involves raw data, such as the daily stock market or weather statistics or sports scores. Even then, we usually provide a “Mainstream” disclaimer.

Illegal Immigration and the Catholic Church: Follow the Money

Decades ago, the State Department began to resettle genuine refugees in the United States. They approached the Catholic Church for help. Today, that legitimate assistance has turned into an “illegal immigration complex” worth billions of dollars.

Liberal groups make the correct calculation that most will be afraid to criticize the Biden Administration’s use of nongovernmental organizations and faith-based groups to help mask the flow of federal money to aid illegal immigration. Unfortunately, some people smear as racist anyone who advocates for securing the border—something that should be considered non-controversial and essential for all nation-states.

Francis, a leftist globalist Argentine, has made the defense of illegal immigration a major plank of his papacy. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops is all-in. Post-Covid, weekly Mass attendance has continued its steep decline. There is a need to fill both the pews and the collection plates.
