Strangely, a few minutes into his speech the video feed cut out, and those watching the streaming video were not able to see what I was watching in person. In the talk radio era, the blogosphere blip, as well as the early days of social media, alternative media entirely devoted itself to refuting the mainstream news cycle. There was not sufficient time or enough megaphones to focus or anything other than the sanctioned immediacy of the day.
In this interview, Iversen brings us a news story that does not address the 4 PM talking points, pro or con. That is big. Alternative media can now address a story that is over eight years old but is still pertinent today.
